The Big Bash: Fashion and Fun for a Cause What a party! Our celebration and fashion show wasn’t just a hit—it raised more than two thousand pounds for Willen Hospice, a deserving cause... (with donations still coming we will announce the final figure soon)! Hosted by Kings Road Fashions, independent women’s boutique in Leighton Buzzard, this event was all about style, laughter, and community spirit. There was plenty to celebrate: those fabulous new AW25 collections we couldn’t hold back any longer and raising a glass to Joanna’s twenty years with the business!   Fashionista Vibe From the moment the music started, the room came alive with energy. Around 50 incredible outfits made an appearance and definitely caught a lot of attention! From casual wear and easy dressing, to seasonal trends to Fashionista Favourites like Rundholz Black Label and Lurdes Bergada, we covered a lot of ground!   A highly regarded new collection by Jane Lushka (designer of the dress worn by boutique owner Joanna Mulcahy on the day) had a special moment before the show’s grand finale. The final scene was a real showstopper, with unique looks from two fabulous and original designers Kozan and Bize. Best of all, it wasn’t professional models in the room - it was customers and friends of the shop, strutting their stuff with confidence. No matter the age, size, or style, every model brought their own flair, and the crowd adored them for it.   Dressed to Impress The room was brimming with style. Over 80 fabulous guests arrived, turning heads in their best outfits, (most of which were from Kings Road)! Everyone was out to impress and they certainly looked the part! The cheers, clapping, and support from the crowd raised the atmosphere, and every model walked away feeling like a star.     Perfect Setting Set in the Woughton House Hotel in Woughton on the Green, Milton Keynes, the event had a touch of elegance combined with Sunday afternoon ease. Arrival drinks of fizz were served outside then after the show, the guests enjoyed afternoon tea whilst they discussed their wishlists.     Prizes, Surprises, and Community Joy No charity event would be complete without a fabulous raffle packed with amazing prizes, generously given by Kings Road Fashions, their fashion suppliers and local businesses in both Leighton Buzzard and Woburn Sands.   Plus there were a few surprises in store for Joanna and the rest of the team when unexpected bouquets of flowers were delivered to their hands with thanks and huge rounds of applause. Which were very well deserved for all the hard work behind the scenes in putting on a fantastic event like this! Fashion Show Looks  Loved what you saw on the runway?
