In our latest AW25 styling session, we focused on how to wear seasonal pieces in a way that feels natural, wearable, and suited to real life. Rather than thinking in terms of individual items, we always approach styling by building outfits. Starting with a base — whether that’s a simple knit, a soft jersey layer, or an easy dress — and then adding layers that bring warmth, shape, and interest. This season, mixing relaxed silhouettes with a touch of structure is key to creating balanced looks. Proportion plays a big role in autumn winter styling. Longer layers paired with slimmer shapes, or wider-leg trousers balanced with shorter or neater tops, help outfits feel modern without trying too hard. Small details such as rolling sleeves, half-tucking knits, or adjusting collars and scarves can completely change how an outfit feels. Texture is another essential element. Combining soft knits with smoother fabrics, or adding a scarf or outer layer, brings depth and warmth to a look. These are the kinds of details that make outfits feel finished, even when they’re built from simple pieces. Colour also has a strong presence this season. Neutrals form the foundation, but richer autumnal tones add interest and warmth.
